Life onboard
Just another idyllic days cruising, Charlie and David provide a light breakfast in the catamaran’s spacious cockpit, with a selection of local fruits, fresh coffee, toast, croissants, eggs (served just how you like them!) and fresh fruit juice. Set sail to a palm-fringed cay and swim or water ski to build a thirst – venturing ashore in search of a beach bar and a cool drink, before returning to Cool Runnings for a light salad and crepes lunch served al-fresco style.
Soon the trade winds freshen and Cool Runnings heads off under full sail, passing along the way many Robinson Crusoe-deserted isles, before reaching the evenings anchorage. Perhaps landfall will bring a lively Caribbean trading port with its colourful timber buildings, fish restaurants set amongst prestigious colonial properties and a selection of boutique shops and stores. The spicy aroma on the air from the numerous restaurants and beach bars will probably entice you to eat ashore that night, savouring the delights of the local restaurants. Other days a quieter ambiance may be sought dining aboard with the good company of David and Charlie.
